On The Outset in Budapest: Paid Internship at Workshop Foundation

Workshop Foundation opened a call for our programme On The Outset, which entails education in arts administration, production and communication, and curatorial practises.

What is the programme about?
The programme aims to support the emergence of a new generation of cultural managers in the field of contemporary performing arts. To this end, the Workshop Foundation provides paid internships for young cultural managers. This call for proposals is open for a period of 6 months, which may be extended up to 12 months by mutual agreement.

Who is the programme for?
The 'On the Outset' traineeship programme is open to young people who are working or preparing to work as arts managers and who are able to use English as a working language, both orally and in writing.
The primary aim of the Workshop Foundation is to support and develop the contemporary performing arts in Hungary (especially contemporary dance). An openness to this field, knowledge of the Foundation's programmes, social media platforms and a confident use of Excel and Word would be an advantage.

What does the programme offer?
The trainee will be involved in the administrative, organisational and creative work of the Workshop Foundation in the national and international fields, with the help of a mentor. The Foundation will provide the trainee with office infrastructure and a gross monthly salary of EUR 600. The traineeship is flexible and involves 20 hours of work per week.
