Fani Pozidi is a freelance dancer and performer based in Belgium and Greece. She has obtained a BA in Dance and a BSc in Chemistry and she is currently completing her Master studies in dance in the Conservatory of Antwerp. She has acquired studies in music and she occasionally enjoys playing the drums.
As a performer she has collaborated with Stephanie Janaina, Tzeni Argyriou, Marcos Morau, Jeremaiah Day, Vasso Giannakopoulou, etc., and she has also worked as a choreographer for different theater and film productions. She has participated in festivals and residencies with her own works, such as Seems Like A Solo (2022), Burst (2023) and One a̶n̶d̶ only (2024). She continues to develop her artistic practice by exploring different medias that intertwine with movement and dance. In addition to performing and choreographing she also teaches ballet, contemporary dance and improvisation to teenagers and adults.
Fani is nominated by STUK Leuven for an Artistic Exchange Residency in Zagreb, at our network partner Antisezona. She teaches a workshop at Tala Ple(j)s from 10–13 February 2026.
A Workshop by Fani Pozidi
Fani Pozidi's work engages with the poetics of the everyday—its struggles, repetitions, and resistances—tracing how these experiences are held and expressed within the body. Her workshop is a sharing of her practice “charging–discharging” and an invitation to collectively reflect on these themes through the dynamics and playfulness of contradictions. The group is going to investigate the bipoles strength/vulnerability, momentum/stagnation, and limitation/freedom through movement improvisations, as well as writing practices and collaborative play. The classes are open to professional and semi-professional dancers or performers with movement experience.
10–13 February 2026, 10:00–12:00
