Hampus Bergander is an independent curator based in Sweden, working across the Nordic region and internationally. From 2020 to 2024, he was curator at Kin – Museum for Contemporary Art, where he led a range of critically engaged exhibitions and interdisciplinary programmes.

His practice is research-led and situated, engaging the intersections of performance, moving image, embodied knowledge, and spatial politics. Through exhibitions, performances, and discursive formats, he approaches curating as a mode of negotiation and collective sense-making—foregrounding queer temporalities, collaborative approaches, and speculative forms of world-building.

For this Artistic Exchange Residency, Lokomotiva was looking for a curator to visit the Performance Platform Festival on 9–12 June in Skopje, North Macedonia, which includes a conference block and workshops on the topic (Eco)Feminism in Practice(s): Rethinking Arts and Curatorial Futures.
