Mia Zalukar’s artistic practice centers on the methodology of focused attention - a process of zooming in on overlooked details that are present in our everyday life. She extracts specific patterns from their original contexts, transforming them into spaces for investigation.

In her new work The Beginning of Beginnings, she deals with the idea of omnipresent different beginnings: births and commencements that penetrate through our life and everyday existence. In this intimate, yet simultaneously universal exploration, she invites the audience to think and communicate about the very nature of beginnings.
