Teodora Simova

On The Outset

Teodora Simova graduated from the Catholic University of Milan with a degree in Mass Media, specializing in advertising. From 2012 to 2017, she worked in the advertising department of the Ivan Vazov National Theatre, after which she founded her own graphic design studio – Lunohod Studio.

She mainly works in the field of cultural events and is the author of the advertising visuals for the productions Joan, The Celebration, Chamkoria, The Drunks, The Seagull, Homecoming, Don’t Say That!, Christmas Tree at the Ivanovs’ (dir. Javor Gardev), A Clockwork Orange, Metamorphoses, Doubt (dir. Stayko Murdzhev), Lungs(dir. Mariy Rossen), Medea (dir. Desislava Shpatova), and many more.

Over the years, she has collaborated with the Ivan Vazov National Theatre, the Little City Theatre, the Nikolay Binev Youth Theatre, the Azaryan Theatre, Sofia Theatre, Sfumato Theatre, N.O. Masalitinov Drama Theatre – Plovdiv, N. Vaptsarov Drama Theatre – Blagoevgrad, and Theatre 199 “Valentin Stoychev.” She has also worked on projects by Brain Store Project, Association Informbureau, Nomad Dance Academy, the Union of Artists in Bulgaria, Base X, SY11, Bulgarian National Television, Legal Art Center, Derida Dance Center, “Cultural Perspectives” Foundation, “Read Sofia” Foundation, “Next Page” Foundation, and the A25 Cultural Foundation.

Since 2017, she has been the graphic designer of the Antistatic International Festival for Contemporary Dance and Performance, and since 2019, she has been responsible for the artistic design of the country’s only specialized dance and dance culture magazine, Dance Magazine
