Tuuli Vahtola is a dance and performance artist based in Helsinki, Finland. Having started working at Moving in November in 2025 in the frame of On the Outset, she is very happy to be back again, and to continue working in the role of communications producer with the festival’s 2026 edition.

Through combining different methods of performing arts from movement to storytelling, her choreographic work explores modes of presence, social interaction, intimacy, privacy, and affective memory. Vahtola’s works have been shown in New Performance Turku Biennale, Contemporary Art Space Kutomo, Mad House Helsinki. As a performer Tuuli has recently worked with choreographers Sonja Jokiniemi, Oda Brekke, and Mikko Niemistö. In 2024 Tuuli was a danceWEB Scholarship recipient at ImPulsTanz, nominated by Moving in November. Tuuli holds a BA of Fine Arts in Dance from Stockholm University of the Arts and a MA of Social Sciences from Tampere University.
