Uferstudios Berlin are looking for production assistants! One for 12 weeks within the period July–September 2026, another one for 12 weeks within the period September–December 2026, both inclusive a 1-week exchange to another Life Long Burning partner.

Life Long Burning fosters education, knowledge exchange and capacity building within the contemporary dance and performance field. As part of the programme On the Outset, Uferstudios GmbH offers a paid internship for emerging producers and arts administrators interested in developing practical experience in production, administration and international cultural cooperation.
Each internship is intended for individuals who wish to gain insight into the production and organisational structures of dance and choreography, both at a local and international level. It is particularly suitable for emerging producers, artist-producers, project managers and cultural workers seeking to further their professional development within the independent performing arts.


About the Position
The selected interns will work closely with the Uferstudios team and gain practical experience in the day-to-day operation of an independent production and residency venue, as well as in the coordination of international network projects.
 

Tasks include:
• Supporting the administration and coordination of the Life Long Burning programme
• Assisting international residency artists and partner organisations
• Contributing to the development of an upcoming artistic-discursive laboratory
• Supporting financial procedures, reporting and documentation
• Daily tasks in general organisational & administrative work related to running a venue The internship includes a one-week exchange with a Life Long Burning partner organization.
 

Conditions
• Duration: 12 weeks within the period, approximately 16-20 H/week, the organization of the period is flexible and can be adapted to both your and our needs, either evenly spread throughout the period, in bulks or full-time for certain weeks.

• Location: Uferstudios GmbH, Berlin
• Remuneration: EUR 20 gross per hour (Midi job sector)
• Exchange: one-week placement at partner organization (subject to scheduling
agreement)


You should bring
Interest in administration and project management in the field of dance & performance, artistic sensibility and critical thinking skills. The internship is suitable for emerging producers that wish to further their professional development and get more experience, with the aim of working professionally as a producer in the independent dance/performing arts field. Working knowledge of German and English and computer skills required.
