For the second time this year, the new edition of Antisezona's programme Close Encounters of the Dance Kind announces an exciting and unpredictable performance by dancers.

"We opened the first ever with Close Encounters of the Dance Kind, eight years ago. The desire for performance and audience to encounter closely, for a portal between performance and reality to exist, through which we can enter and exit with ease, continues burning within us. Gorgona is also Burning, with pleasure over meeting on the stage.

SAUNA Collective, Keith Hennessy and guests invite to a lab in the frame of the last Antisezona block of the year, the Improspekcije festival from 7 to 14 December 2025.

The laboratory brings together performers, musicians, and audiovisual artists interested in improvisation and collective work from Croatia, the region, and the American artist Keith Hennessy, a choreographer and researcher of improvisation and queer activist. It is conceived as a space for shared exploration of improvisation as an artistic, political, and collective tool. The questions guiding them are: What does it mean to improvise after the end of the known world? How do body, movement, sound, and space create new forms of togetherness, resistance, and regeneration in times of political crises and global challenges? The showing will be created as the final stage of a seven-day laboratory.
