Marie Reverdy Feedback Session
ICI–CCN has invited playwright Marie Reverdy to accompany a group of people to explore the programme by Madeleine Fournier and Bryan Campbell. The aim is to experience what it is like to be a spectator by following the whole artistic pathway - performances, experiments, encounters, collective practices – as different facets contributing to a complete picture.
Madeleine Fournier and Bryan Campbell
“What is a work of art? Does it have a function? If so, what? What effect does it have on us, and why? Is there anything to understand?
By following a show, a methodology and a source of philosophical inspiration, we look into the artistic pathway that Madeleine Fournier presents, to stimulate our vision, our intelligence and our emotions. This leads to exchange about art, about the work itself, about which elements convey meaning and how the physical process contributes to this.
Discussions, thought processes and questioning enable us to identify the main lines of a collectively constructed message and to extend, together, the aesthetic experience we have shared.” Marie Reverdy
For Madeleine Fournier, the encounters will be recorded and edited for an audio podcast.
For Bryan Campbell, a group of architecte for ENSAM – Montpellier school of Architecture, will propose a scale model as feedbacks.
