Soup Talks is a series of informal conversations with the artists presenting their work during the Moving in November festival from the 6–16 November 2025. The talks form a discursive line that goes through the festival and brings people together. We want to welcome the audience and the artists around a big table with a bowl of warm soup. Everybody is invited to join in, listen, pose questions, and take part in the discussions. Each of the talks will be hosted by a local artist.

Soup Talks are an invitation to come together and discuss. We invite you for a bowl of soup and to engage in informal discussions with the artists presenting their works in this year’s festival. You are also more than welcome to lean back and just listen in. The talks are taking place each day during the festival between 12:00–1:30 pm at Caisa and are hosted by an artist from the Helsinki area.

With one exception: we are extremely happy about this year’s collaboration with Goethe-Institute Finland. Inviting us for the Soup Talk with artists Lucy Wilke, Paweł Duduś & Kim Ramona Ranalter on 8 November to their facilities.
