MDT invites to a Speakers Corner: An open mic platform where everyone can share their political views, needs, concerns, and dreams for the field of dance, pre-national election! 

"We’ll share the results of a survey filled out by politicians from all parties, with answers about their views and directions for the dance field… Let’s hear it!

We’ll fire each other up with speeches about what actions we can take together in solidarity for dance! We’ll discuss strategies, tips and tricks for attending to what’s important today!

We’ll have a picnic on the grassy stage of MDT, with music, and celebrate the start of a new season! Feel free to bring your own picnic, including anything you'd like to eat and drink.

This Cultural Policy Gathering happens just after the first showings of DC Public, the culmination of summer residencies through Danscentrum Stockholm at MDT and Hägerstensåsens medborgarhus.

We hope you’ll come out for the dance - and stay for the cultural policy!"
