MDT Moderna Dansteatern is looking for a production intern to join them during spring season 2026.

They are looking for a person who wants to work with/learn more about production and administration of dance and choreography, both at a local and at an international level.

ABOUT THE POSITION

This is a paid internship for up to three months full time/four months part time during the period March-June 2026. You will work closely with the team at MDT and follow our daily work with co-productions, presentations, residencies and other activities, as well as be responsible for some projects of your own. The internship is in the frame of On The Outset and includes an exchange and visit to another partner within the Life Long Burning network (Outsetters Abroad).

Apply if you have experience in some kind of artistic/cultural work, and want to get more experience as a producer/project manager within performing arts. The internship is suitable for emerging producers that wish to deepen their professional development and get more experience, with the aim of working professionally as a producer in the independent dance/performing arts field.

International applicants are welcome, but unfortunately we are not able to offer accommodation in Stockholm.
